8KAWAII creates an intoxicating rainbow of sound in her new single, ‘colors.’.
As the third track released by the musician alternatively known as Bethany Lambright, it dives headfirst into the vast realms of psychedelic indie pop. While taking inspiration from the likes of Tame Impala, this track is far from a carbon copy of what’s come before. Standing instead as an evolution, it takes the genres signature synths and repetition and transforms it through Chinese whispers. Fusing the sound with her own bold soul.
