So often a new band will try too hard to fit a square peg in a round hole, but Cat Ryan are more than happy being the square peg that doesn’t want to fit in. With lead singer Mary-Anne’s voice warm enough to comfort anyone simply by listening, and the super catchy melody featuring cute guitar plucking and a steady drumbeat to carry the song, Cat Ryan have produced a song they can be incredibly proud of. A song that creates a real feel-good atmosphere.
