Stopping the world turning on apathy, Chris Noah’s latest single ‘This Is The Night’ ends it all amongst an earthquake of sounds.
Morphing the pain of realising that your partner cares more about their progression than that of the relationship into a pop track underpinned by touches of folk and electronic, this song is fuelled by its smoking synths which grumble with heartbreak. Calling into the darkness with a euphoric chorus, the bridge changes everything. Compressing all it touches with a breeze of hazy texture. Morphing the last chorus into a Bon Iver-esque remix of that which existed barely half a minute later.
As part of upcoming EP, Distance Deluxe (the parent to that which was released back in March), this new release shows that even on the darkest of nights we don’t want distance from Chris Noah’s music.
