Ever wondered what would happen if you combined alt-rock driven power choruses and the lyrical dexterity of modern pop and hip-hop? Well, look no more. Cures And Curses nostalgic new single ‘Owe You Nothing’ fuses all these genres together, resulting in a huge wave of energy, and the need to blast this out at full volume.

The brains behind Cures and Curses is multi-instrumentalist Aaron Akpojaro. A proud South Londoner, Akpojaro finds himself pioneering a niche genre of music, and absolutely killing it. “I feel best when I’m writing from a position of power, the song deals with loss but it’s about empowering yourself in the wake of that.” Akpojaro writes about his new single. 

Perhaps songwriting and producing become more fulfilling when you have lost someone and have something to prove, but Cures and Curses have nothing more to prove with this anthem readymade for stadiums. The future looks bright for Cures and Curses.
