“Leaving the cycle of instability to carry on forever, 'Fire In Alaska' is a track to leave on repeat and bathe in its dark energy.”
A story of fire and ice, ‘Fire in Alaska’ is the latest track to be added to David Ost’s revolution of alternative folk pop.
In just over three-minutes, the Hamburg based artist takes a doomed relationship and spins it into an enchanting cacophony of dwindling guitars, slapping drums and whirling synths. Led into war by Ost’s grumbling, accented vocals, the chorus becomes a battlefield. Fighting between the desire to stand grounded or walk away. Considering surrender, the bridge is an echo chamber for questions neither party in the relationship can answer, only leading to a return to the tracks very first lines in its final breath.
Leaving the cycle of instability to carry on forever, 'Fire In Alaska' is a track to leave on repeat and bathe in its dark energy.
