Newcastle duo Drive embrace in their latest single, unsurprisingly titled, ‘The Rain’.

What does every 1980s movie worth its grain of salt contain? A kissing scene in the rain, of course. An unmistakable romantic climax which the Newcastle duo Drive embrace in their latest single, unsurprisingly titled, ‘The Rain’.

Trapping the emotion of a feature-length movie into barely three minutes, the track’s sky of percussion is joined by clouds of synth and raindrops of guitar. An intricate mesh of beats that becomes as beautiful as it is delicate.

Now, busy the studio recording their debut EP, it won’t be long until Drive return with more music and a reason to return to the road.
