FLY THE NEST’S LATEST SINGLE ‘BE MINE’ FINDS SOLACE IN ETERNAL LOVE.
“With years of experience writing music for both TV and film, it’s no surprise that Fly the Nest can transcribe emotion so clearly into music.”
Stephen Cooper’s solo project, Fly The Nest’s latest single ‘Be Mine’ finds solace in eternal love.
Written for his best friend’s wedding, this Dublin native has crafted a honeymoon of adoration trapped within airwaves. Raw and pure, it’s a celebration of marriage. Overflowing with emotion, the track is driven by Cooper’s mahogany vocals and slow piano chords which sometimes allow the guitar to float through its cracks into the foreground. Almost as if its soft strings were another person verifying the track's sentiment before returning to the background.
With years of experience writing music for both TV and film, it’s no surprise that Fly the Nest can transcribe emotion so clearly into music. Creating a landscape of love which we can only hope is mirrored in real life.
