“‘Aren’t You Glad’ evokes strong emotion, with enough scope for personal interpretation so that the song then becomes theirs.”

Spiked with synths and oozing a beach-bound nonchalance, Found Instruments, aka Jack Joseph, is back with their latest single ‘Aren’t You Glad’.

Recorded entirely from his ‘box room studio’ at home, singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Found Instruments has produced yet another genre-bending track, which fully embraces his eclectic list of inspirations and influences. Jangly surf-rock guitars reminiscent of the Beach Boys, mix with psychedelic synths and Bowie-esque vocals to create a distinctive and unique sound that is entirely beguiling and mesmerising. With the philosophy that his music is about ‘capturing a feeling more than being about anything specifically’, ‘Aren’t You Glad’ is somewhat of a gift; carefully crafted by the artist so that when imparted to the listener, it evokes strong emotion, with enough scope for personal interpretation so that the song then becomes theirs.
