HOWLITE CONTINUE TO CARRY LISTENERS INTO THEIR CINEMATIC DREAMSCAPE WITH THEIR LATEST SINGLE ‘CANARY’.

Let Howlite immerse you in their synthscape, and prompt us to leave some time for self-discovery and self-reflection this autumn.”

Howlite continue to carry listeners into their cinematic dreamscape with their latest single ‘Canary’.

The band, who hail from Melbourne, Australia, have succeeded once again in creating an entirely new sound, with their highly experimental and daring approach to music-making and genre-bending. ‘Canary’ combines elements of pop music with trip-hop in order to create what can only be described as a sonic dream land, with lingering, sultry vocals and eerie, echoing percussion. The track explores the idea of disconnection between oneself and the people around them, with lead singer Alison Thom describing the song as depicting ‘the terrifying process of looking at yourself… and realising that you don’t actually know who you are’.

Let Howlite immerse you in their synthscape, and prompt us to leave some time for self-discovery and self-reflection this autumn.
