Hugo De La Lune Is A Musical Genius. It Really Is That Simple.

“This is not evil in the sense of being immoral or wanting to cause harm but to claim things we have been conditioned to believe we have no right to claim.”

Hugo De La Lune is a musical genius. It really is that simple. The Oakland based artist produces, sings, and plays several instruments, despite only beginning his musical journey five years ago. Hugo De La Lune has released two projects this year alone, which shows he is not waiting around. Artists like Moses Sumney, James Blake, Nick Hakim, and others have played a hugely influential role in the styles of music Hugo De La Lune creates, but it is from nature that the majority of his creative influence stems from.

Act II is an EP consisting of three songs - just like Act I. All three songs share the same values to a certain extent, Hugo De La Lune wishes to construe this type of evilness throughout his music. This is not evil in the sense of being immoral or wanting to cause harm but to claim things we have been conditioned to believe we have no right to claim. The sort of topics only an artist as bold as Hugo De La Lune would delve into.
