Isaac Snow’s latest musical offering ‘Why’, pushes far beyond his acoustic roots to confront the listener with a new dark and ominous sound.

Isaac has taken a huge gamble in his exploration of music beyond his trademark folk and acoustic beginnings, however it has certainly paid off in this newest musical release. By layering vocals, adding a heavier drumbeat and introducing synth elements to the track, the London singer-songwriter has been able to transmit his poignant lyrics far more assertively to the listener. ‘Why’ is the perfect sonic vessel on which to carry his interrogation of futile anti-immigration and xenophobic attitudes that exist in the UK. Drawing on his own experiences working with Refugees, despite having taken more risks than ever before in the production of his music, the track still retains a real fragility and authentic quality, so characteristic of Snow.
