Get your groove on with Ivy Eye’s shimmering debut track ‘Peace of Mind’.

UK based disco duo Ivy Eye will get you on the dancefloor, no questions asked. Doesn’t matter if you are sitting at your desk or are in the middle of a busy commute – your feet will itch to dance, and your head will bop along with the funky beat. Mixing modern song writing sensibility with old school disco attitude, Matthew Benham and Rory Sheppard have created a sunny concoction that is both timeless and incredibly fresh; but most importantly, it is a pure joy to listen to.

With its very first luminescent beat, ‘Peace of Mind’ smacks right around the face, leaving you grinning and forever grateful. As the waves of sound begin to cascade, your ears will be caressed by jivy guitars, a fat base and shimmering beats – all crowned with the funkiest of saxophones. There is a distinct influence of disco/funk giants like CHIC and the newly defunct Daft Punk (RIP), but Ivy Eye make these elements their own, constructing a track that is sure to earn them much admiration, both for its technicality and pure good vibes.

If this track doesn’t make your mind dissolve into a puddle of warm satisfaction, you are a lost cause.
