John Jin Han and his band consists of David Cho, Asa Stern, and Carson Cody respectively. They met through close connections within the Indie community and have never looked back.
Their new single ‘Out Of Breath’ was recorded at Beloved Studios in Irvine, inspired by the theme of ‘Summer Love’. John Jin Han cites The War on Drugs as one of the main influences behind the single, and you can tell. They share the same sense of euphoria through the rhythmic bassline and airy synths, combined with melancholic guitar solos.
The band claim that the single, much like their upcoming album, aims to depict a nostalgic theme. The new single is about processing their childhood, whilst navigating through their 20s. John Jin Han explains the single as the soundtrack to their own coming of age story. Not all memories are the same, but the new single ‘Out Of Breath’ will certainly be relatable to many.
