Jordan Rose’s “Alibi” is a perfect escapist delight for all the hopeless romantics.

“‘Alibi’ is a prime example of dedicated and joyous musicianship – one that will only grow with time and sore to new heights. ”

Jordan Rose’s “Alibi” is a perfect escapist delight for all the hopeless romantics.

New York native Jordan Rose possesses an undeniable charismatic sparkle that shines through her music. Melodic, atmospheric and deeply personal, her work mixes quirky Indie-Pop with R&B beats and folk elements, creating a wave of sound that fills the room with the warmth of her voice. A deeply committed musician, Jordan started writing music in high school, eventually studying Jazz & Contemporary Voice at university and participating in the Los Angeles music scene upon graduation. Now she about to release her debut album, “In The Name of Love”, and if her newest track “Alibi” is anything to judge by, we are in for a treat.

As it unfolds, “Alibi” takes us on a journey into the mind of a hopeless romantic struggling to express themselves. Inspired by a friend who confessed their feelings to someone after months of holding back, the song is mimetic in its structure, growing steadily to a joyous crescendo and gaining self-assurance with each verse. Jordan’s voice shines throughout – vibrant and resonant, full of delicate harmonies that rest on a steady R&B inspired beat.

A bright track that takes its roots in honest and personable storytelling, “Alibi” is a prime example of dedicated and joyous musicianship – one that will only grow with time and sore to new heights.
