Every few years a singer-songwriter captures the spirit of young adulthood for their generation. In the last decade that has been Nina Nesbitt, Gabrielle Aplin, and now Katie Kittermaster.

Her first release since her 2019 debut EP Coming Home At Dawn, ‘One of a Kind’ is the realisation that you have to let go of your comfortable first love trapped within a bubblegum shell of pop. Sugary-sweet from the very first strums of the guitar, the song grows into a lightly textured ballad of empowerment.

The first of many tracks to be released covering different types of love, it will soon be evident to the whole world that Katie Kittermaster is one of a kind.
