Koalra’s blissful new single, ‘Torture’, is a reimagining of what it means to be a punk band in this day and age.

Loose in rhythm but soft in texture, this Portland band's music is far from torturous on the ear. Made from a pillowy cloud of echoing guitar and vocals questioning the listener's dependence upon the band, they take heavy sonic inspiration from the likes of Wavves and Youth Lagoon to create a track both head fuzzing and brain buzzing.

Moving swiftly towards their third album, Into Everything, Koalra gently pulls you into their surprisingly comfortable gravitational orbit.
