"I can never be" is the third self-produced release from artist, songwriter, and producer, Kyns. She has recorded all of her debut singles from within her LA apartment, as she continues to lay the framework for her indie singer-songwriter meets folk- tronic sound.
This song is an intimate ballad confronting the idea of "feeling deserving" of good things, and how imposter syndrome can manifest itself in relationships, both romantic and with yourself. We are led to a chorus that, though simple in its lyricism, is far from easy realization, as the artist battles with the impact that her own self-doubt has on the relationships with those closest to her.
Alongside her solo music project, she also toplines for pop artists and trailer composers, as well as co-composing and writing original compositions for several animated short films.
