Lemonade Shoelace releases cinematic, synth-infused, psych-pop gem of a track.

The debut single from County Down native Lemonade Shoelace, aka Ruairi Richman, comes in the form of ‘Autopilot Paradise’. A wistful view inside the mind of someone unhappy in their relationship, the track explores the guilt of finding joy in other activities, or indeed other people, when the weekend finally comes around. Sonically, ‘Autopilot Paradise’ is technicolour; rich textures of sound melt into one another, resulting in an equally opulent tapestry final product, that borrows from a plethora of popular music from the last half a century. Psychedelia and soul, with a futuristic twist, is the resultant effect emulating from Lemonade Shoelace’s studio, and with his intricate and zany lyrical style, we should expect nothing but big things to come. The perfect foreword to summer, this single will help all of us to find our very own ‘Autopilot Paradise’.
