It May Be Flu Season, But Lime’s New Single ‘Fever’ Is The Only Vibe You’ll Want To Catch This Winter.

“Lime are the perfect example of postmodernism, and the perfect example of a band growing from strength to strength.”

Although it may be flu season, Lime’s new single ‘Fever’ is the only vibe you’ll want to be catching this Winter. ‘Fever’ provides the listener a window into the mind of generation Z. A song that dissects the vanity of modern society, and simply asks ‘Why?’. It is simply brilliant to see a relatively new band taking on such complex sociocultural issues and reflecting these concerns within their music. With the likes of Lauren Laverne, Tom Robinson and Phil Taggart all early supporters, it's quite a telling sign that Lime are going places.

With Lime’s new single ‘Fever’, they appear to have perfectly encapsulated the 1970s New York disco scene, but with a modern twist. The smoothness of the saxophone combined with the Nile Rodgers-esque guitar riffs add to the 1970s disco vibe, whilst Lime added their updated electronic twist, and contemporary vocals for the modern-day effect. The perfect example of postmodernism, and the perfect example of a band growing from strength to strength.
