LIVSKA is the solo project of Seattle Fix’s former front-woman Liv, bringing together her favourite sounds and allowing for unmediated self-expression. Following the success of her debut track ‘Stone’, which played on multiple radio stations across her native Australia, LIVSKA is back with more dreamy goodness, although under very different circumstances.
‘Patience’ was born in Melbourne, during one of the strictest COVID lockdowns in the world. Hidden in her bedroom studio, LIVSKA embarked on a journey of musical discovery, weaving together melodic synths, echoing guitars and dreamy vocals. Originally conceived back in 2019, ‘Patience’ details the process of longing for someone unobtainable, capturing the delicious yet destructive yearning that comes from a mixture of caution and impatience. In 2020, this track acquired a new level of urgency, speaking to all of us who feel stuck and restless in our circumstances.
