Luke Jones is back with a new image, but the same intoxicating indie sound we’ve come to love in the new single, ‘Yeah, She Was Cool’.

Luke Jones is back with a new image, but the same intoxicating indie sound we’ve come to love in the new single, ‘Yeah, She Was Cool’.

Taking the nonchalance of The 1975 and combining it with his own unique sonic arrangements, this Welsh multi-instrumentalist gives us the first hints at his debut EP, A Consequence of Divinity. Openly reflecting on a past relationship, this single sees Jones take a step back into a world of sharp riffs to review a break-up from both sides.

With its transparency seeping far beyond the lyrics, we can only hope this is an open reflection of what is to come from Luke Jones.
