Out At Sea release jubilant Summer anthem ‘Lucky It’s Love’

For a track about the “cyclical relationship we have with our vices”, there’s joy at the core of ‘Lucky It’s Love’ - the latest track from Indie-Pop quartet Out At Sea. Opening with the anticipatory pace of lightly-caressed cymbals, instrumental layers slowly merge together in a jubilant cacophony of sound. Indie rock guitar riffs are juxtaposed triumphantly by clear and earnest vocals - a task shared by co-lead singers Matt and Mark – whilst pounding drums create an unrelenting feeling of energy throughout. It’s a track borne from gigging in a time gone by, having been perfected pre-lockdown through the enthusiastic input of a live audience and its “unparalleled” ability to echo a hook.

‘Lucky It’s Love’ pays homage to the ecstasy of live gigs – Summer anthems don’t get much better than this.
