Beautiful Creatures, beautiful melodies, and overall beautiful music. This is what we’ve come to expect from Palace Cats and once more they have delivered with their single ‘Beautiful Creatures’. Palace Cats is what happens when you place instruments into the hands of a doctor and teacher respectively. The duo have played in bands for a number of years, and following the tragic passing of their best friend and bandmate James Murgatroyd, they find themselves now as a two-piece. With COVID presenting challenges musically and professionally, they didn’t allow it to smother their creativity, but instead, they now have a new focal point from which they can draw inspiration.

‘Beautiful Creatures’ is entirely self-produced and is a modern love song born out of the sobering events on a hospital ward. Overhearing elderly residents wishing sweet goodbyes to their loved ones, Joe cycled home to ensure he could convey how he felt about his own loved ones. ‘Beautiful Creatures’ is a beautiful message to any loved one.
