Parlour Suns plead ‘Wait For Me’ in their emotional pop-punk belter.

Plymouth indie-rockers Parlour Suns have gone from strength to strength this past year. With a string of successful and much-praised singles, the band – made up of Robson Knott, Greg Evans, Aiden Bond and Jordan Tidball – have proved that they are here to stay. With spots on AmazingRadio and BBC Introducing South & West, as well as multiple live performances across the UK, Parlour Suns continue to expand their listening pool and are sure to find fans wherever they go next.

Bursting with explosive pop-punk guitars and pounding drums, ‘Wait For Me’ doesn’t shy away from either big sounds of big emotions. Written while on tour, this track bemoans the pain of separation from one’s love and assures an imminent return. Knott’s emotive vocals masterfully shift between powerful rendition and moments of quiet tenderness in the pre-choruses, expressing the full spectrum of conflicting emotion. Centring around the hook of the impassioned plea – “Will you wait for me?” – the chorus seeps deep into our minds and resonates with anyone who has ever felt the agony of separation.

Fully armed with their signature booming sound and unrelenting energy, Parlour Suns continue to deliver catchy and emotion-packed music for the hungry crowd.
