Brought to life through supersonic synths and intoxicating bass, the Northampton-born band are trying to break into an alternate universe wherein obsession becomes reality. Recorded in the sporadic gaps between lockdown, there’s a feeling of freedom which flows through its composition.
Yet it's in lockdown that Sarpa Salpa to have thrived, with an electrifying debut EP and virtual set at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend. This single, however, signals the start of a new era for the band.
