Following the success of debut EP ‘Watercooler Talk’, Scream Mountain launch their sophomore chapter with epic granular single Rush
With a proud track record of self-producing their music, Australian pop-rock four-piece Scream Mountain are assured of their musical identity. Rush, the lead single of their upcoming sophomore album ‘Drowsy Hours’, gloriously basks in the lo-fi melodies of their trademark sound. Understated electric guitar riffs are complemented by old-school drums and two-piece vocal harmonies, which work together to encapsulate the listener in an all-consuming melodic blanket. “I feel it now, I’m caught in a rush” they proclaim, “don’t want to get out, I need your touch”. At its core, Rush carves escapism: a call for adventure through the importance of self-reflection.
