The Great Leslie are really living up to their name in the sense that they really are pretty great. And they’re once more proving this with their wicked new single ‘See You Again’ that will ensure that you will want to see these guys over and over and over again. ‘See You Again’ is their first release in 2021 following their Summer House Studios live session back in January. It is an immense burst of infectious indie pop, reminiscent of the glory days of the Noughties era. ‘See You Again’ is both nostalgic and uplifting and the perfect summer anthem that we’ve all been crying out for.
Right from the off, ‘See You Again’ evokes scenes of crowded festival fields, from the relentless rhythm section that drives the track forwards, whilst building a platform for frontman, Ollie Trevers, and his superb vocal performance. Fans of Two Door Cinema Club and The Maccabees will absolutely love these guys.
