IN THE ERA OF ENDLESS TECHNOLOGY, THE K'S NEW SINGLE ‘TV’ PERFECTLY ENCAPSULATES MODERN TIMES

“Looking for that perfect modern Indie punk sound? If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re best searching deep in the depths of Merseyside where you’ll find The K’s.”

Looking for that perfect modern Indie punk sound? If that’s what you’re looking for, you’re best searching deep in the depths of Merseyside where you’ll find The K’s. The Indie powerhouse based out of Earlestown return with their epic feel-good single ‘TV’, guaranteed to get you jumping on your feet. The K’s formed through childhood friends Jamie and Dexter, who linked up with Ryan Breslin who’d shared stages with The Who, The Killers and Aerosmith as a session guitarist.

In the era of technology, the single ‘TV’ perfectly encapsulates modern times. Frontman Jamie explains ‘TV’ is about the way we are sold a completely blurred version of reality, but as you get older, you start to realise it’s all bollocks. ‘TV’ has that sensational riff that runs through the song, and with lyrics as profound and meaningful as the crisis of the technological era. Having sold out Manchester’s 1,500 capacity The Ritz, as well as endorsements from the likes of Gibson Guitars and Marshall Amps, The K’s are surely destined for the big time.
