Revolting against the rat race, The Pretty Visitors latest single ‘Head In The Sand’ is an exhilarating turmoil of angsty vocals and decisive guitars.
Starting its life as a frustrated poem that flows in an electric rage from the brain to the pen, this four-piece reject the need for oxygen in this unrelenting, topic crushing track of mutiny. Inspired by the anxious questioning of why you live as you do, the lyrics are packed with vibrant, sadistically beautiful metaphors critiquing society (such as “slit your neck with a fountain pen for a 500 quid raise”). Supported by banging drums, a rogue tambourine and euphoric guitars which ring with wrist shattering speed, the manic instrumentation adds the urgency needed to break you out of the mirage of monotony.
