Vincent George’s ‘Fever’ is a glistening comfort in a world filled with darkness.

Viruses are highly contagious, and Vincent George’s new track ‘Fever’ is no different. But it’s catchy in the best possible way.

Vincent George’s ‘Fever’ is a glistening comfort in a world filled with darkness.

You know when you feel a fever coming on and all you want is for it to go away? Yeah, this isn’t it. If anything, Vincent George’s ‘Fever’ is something you’ll want around for a very, very long time. After spending 10 years as a producer working with the likes of Weird Milk, Natives, and Cusp, Vincent George took the daring decision to fly solo, but it may have been the best decision he has ever made.

Inspired by a modern crop of artists including No Rome, Brockhampton, and Jean Dawson, with elements stemming from the 00s Punk era combined with coming of age soundtracks, Vincent George self-produced ‘Fever’ in his bedroom during lockdown in the most inventive ways. With guitars recorded on his iPhone, 808s in his kitchen, all of which accompanied by trap-style beats and 90s Punk-style guitars, it’s safe to say Vincent George is a musical genius.

The song is about how your mind can quickly spiral out of control through gut-wrenching anxieties leaving you in a paranoid mess, but one thing is for sure - Vincent George’s ‘Fever’ is a glistening comfort in a world filled with darkness.
