In the middle of a global pandemic, three separately isolated mates decided on starting a musical collective. Usually featuring as sidemen with established pop artists, YESICAN decided it was their time in the limelight. YESICAN recently released their new song ‘Under The Rug’, and yes, they certainly can create an absolute anthem. YESICAN’s name came about due to the positive connotations that define the mentality and attitude they aspire to heed in life, especially during these tough times.
Despite COVID’s best efforts to halt their musical creativity, something such as a pandemic clearly could not stand in their way. Their debut single is an extensive hybrid pop sound that fuses falsetto vocals, arpeggiated synthesizers, beats that make you want to dance, and vibrant exotic noises. The combination is rare but truly remarkable. With plans to release a full-length album in the near future, you’d imagine this won’t be the last we hear of YESICAN.
