Exploring the often unspoken anxiety related to having a child and what that means for losing the past version of one's self, the EP is beautifully introspective at a time where self-reflection is incredibly crucial.

Michael Barrow & The Tourists is an indie rock band that blends folk rock with vintage soul. Their debut album, Juneau , dropped in May 2017. It was mixed and mastered by Chicago native Brian Zieske, who produced the breakthrough records for both The Hush Sound and The Academy Is... in the early 2000's. 'Clover' is about finding "the one" and being terrified about it. After a lifetime of growing accustomed to heartbreak and loss, this song explores the feelings of doubt and uncertainty that come with finding something that might actually stick.

Vela Vada is a new project from electronic musician and producer Brian Danos. Heavily influenced by the rhythms and spirit of his native New Orleans, his tracks veer from indie electronica to chilled-out downtempo grooves. Fusing lush, lo-fi horns with synthesized textures, his songs are distinctly melodic and accessible. This song is about having a partner who is obsessed with something you don't understand. You love them, so you want to believe that they can create this new reality. But, you also question if they are just out of their mind.

Same, Same is a song from the narrative point of one of Polly Anna's ex lovers or close friends exploring that their trivia nights are no longer the same since she 'left with that troubadour (The Weatherman)'. Heavily influenced by the likes of Andy Shauf, Kevin Morby and Jeff Tweedy, this is one of our favorite tracks from the record.
