Resistance
“Resistance,” their 2nd single, finds the duo exploring a more delicate yet simultaneously strong and confident mood. With Tom Unish’s spaced-out, rockabilly-tinged guitar bouncing through the song’s driving, hypnotic layers of sound, they paint a sonic landscape that yearns for much-needed intimacy in a time of social distancing and isolation.

Blue Canopy's 'Sleep While You Can' is the newest entry from Portland-based multi-instrumentalist, Alex Schiff, his follow up to 2020's 'Mild Anxiety'. Exploring the often unspoken anxiety related to having a child and what that means for losing the past version of one's self, the EP is beautifully introspective at a time where self-reflection is incredibly crucial.
Past Life
Avro's third single is released through London-based record, label Soundplate Records. Mixed by Grammy award winning Brett Shaw who's production credits include Foals, Lady Gaga and Ed Sheeran.
It’s a retrospective song, accessing memories of a time when I thought I’d found a good relationship, but in reality I just enjoyed getting out of the city to see her as she lived far away.

Michael Barrow & The Tourists is an indie rock band that blends folk rock with vintage soul. Their debut album, Juneau, dropped in May 2017. It was mixed and mastered by Chicago native Brian Zieske, who produced the breakthrough records for both The Hush Sound and The Academy Is... in the early 2000's. 'Clover' is about finding "the one" and being terrified about it. After a lifetime of growing accustomed to heartbreak and loss, this song explores the feelings of doubt and uncertainty that come with finding something that might actually stick.

Los Angeles born and raised Heather Rivas is known for her genre-blending music inspired by the eclectic music scene that thrives in her hometown. The queer artist is passionate about writing from her personal experiences and doesn’t hold back when it comes to the dynamics of relationships and how often so much can be left unspoken, whether that is tied to poor judgement, mental health, or discomfort with a situation.

Vela Vada is a new project from electronic musician and producer Brian Danos. Heavily influenced by the rhythms and spirit of his native New Orleans, his tracks veer from indie electronica to chilled-out downtempo grooves. Fusing lush, lo-fi horns with synthesized textures, his songs are distinctly melodic and accessible. This song is about having a partner who is obsessed with something you don't understand. You love them, so you want to believe that they can create this new reality. But, you also question if they are just out of their mind.

Vancouver based MC Kordoroy Floyd is back with his latest single "046" - Floyd’s knack for balancing melodic sensibilities with hardened street lyrics is on display yet again!

Nashville's John Townsend is a songwriter, musician and producer who releases music as "townsend". This song is about the post-breakup-hookups that usually happen for a few months after a relationship ends. It's hard to just stop seeing each other completely and usually both parties play a role in instigating.
Same, Same
Same, Same is off of our latest record 'For Polly Anna' which was just released. Same, Same is a song from the narrative point of one of Polly Anna's ex lovers or close friends exploring that their trivia nights are no longer the same since she 'left with that troubadour (The Weatherman)'. Heavily influenced by the likes of Andy Shauf, Kevin Morby and Jeff Tweedy, this is one of our favorite tracks from the record.

LaVine is a songwriter who loves using captivating metaphors to convey honest emotional ideas. He has been playing music for his whole life, and started to write songs when he was about 16 years old. He took influences from a wide variety of bands and artists from classics like John Denver to modern favorites such as Andrew Belle and Noah Gundersen. He has developed a unique and authentic style that creates a space for emotion and honesty to take shape in a new way.

An introverted English teacher from Chicago, Illinois, who goes by the moniker of HD Bradley, is also a talented musician who knows how to put deep-rooted emotions into words through music. He said “This was once a little love song that gradually snowballed into something else.” and we are glad it did as it is beautiful.
Whisper
Sixteen-year-old breakout artist Tryzdin releases his second single as a solo artist, ‘Whisper’ on the 29th of January via Grá Mór Phonic Records. The song is the first of its kind to be written by Tryzdin himself, with long-term collaborator Marc Darcange (Saint Mars) crafting the arrangements.
