London songwriter Arin finds his sound with sentimental ballad We Look So Good

The track opens to the gently twanging oscillations of an aged piano, taking us back to a time that once was. Taking its cue from past relationships, London-based songwriter Arin vocalises the heartbreak of former unions and the lost nuances of ex-partnerships. There’s an air of nostalgia to the track reflected in the single artwork, where old photographs and hand-scrawled notes scrapbook the adventures of yesteryear. Musically, Arin is a dab hand at weaving soundscapes in his assured sense of production. Pairing acoustic instrumentals with more contemporary synths flits between epochs to tell an honest and holistic story of breaking up.

Tender and unassuming, We Look So Good cherishes the former bonds of love through the melancholy lens of heartbreak.
