Titled by the current fervour of isolation, each of these four tracks turns to internal introspection. Analysing the destabilising effect of relationships on an individual. From blurring the lines between heartbreak and death in ‘Hell’s Door’ to the stagnating white noise of ‘Cat’s Eyes’ and the beautiful mystery contained within ‘The Venom’ (also featuring the synth talents of joegarratt), each track is fused together by a momentous roar of sound. A vibrant whirlwind merging the worlds of pop-punk and electronica.
Ending with a vocalisation of a, here unwarranted, fear of being forgotten, Artio's sound is eclipsed. But only for just as long as it takes for you to press repeat.
