Fall in love with CHLOE’s romantic piano ballad ‘Always Could.’

CHLOE has been writing music since a very early age, even winning the EPTA composers’ competition when she was only 12-years-old. Having begun gigging in her native Edinburgh, CHLOE has since performed across multiple Bristolian venues such as The Passenger Shed, Trinity Centre and the Fleece, before finally moving to London. Recently, she’s played the iconic Hackney Empire and her music has been featured in AXA’s new advertising campaign.

‘Always Could’ is a cinematic piano ballad that subtly weaves wistfulness with a deeply-felt sense of romance. Inspired by BBC’s adaption of Sally Rooney’s bestselling novel Normal People, this track perfectly showcases CHLOE’s resonant, lulling vocals and aptitude for engaging storytelling – the kind that is able to breathe new life into the original source material. Carried by whispering strings and gentle piano chords, CHLOE’s ghostly vocals echo as if inside our own heads, melancholy yet hopeful.

Delicate, ephemeral and deeply visceral, ‘Always Could’ is a track that will make your whole body ache with a sense of wistful longing.
