Confidence Man are back with even more gusto and unabashed sense of fun. Following the success of their 2018 debut album ‘Confident Music For Confident People’, Janet, Sugar, Reggie and Clarence are ready to delight us once again with an upcoming album ‘TILT’. Bringing a much needed sense of joy to the fun-starved pandemic world, their first single off the album celebrates escape and dance-floor madness, embodying the principle that ‘a holiday is a state of mind’.
Kicking off with some choral harmonies and breathy synths, ‘Holiday’ turns a sense of expectation into a full on escapist banger. Bouncing on an electronic beat and jubilant synth chords, the track brings a pervasive sense of technicolour fun, which is turned up to the max in their euphoric music video. Born from a mashup of Underworld and MIA, it is reminiscent of club jams of the early 10s, with an infectious rhythm that will transport you far away from your desk and into the world of sea, sand and endless neon nights.
