Disco isn’t dead as long as we have Ivy Eye’s newest single “Make My Way Out (To The Sun)”.

Breathing new life into disco-driven indie-pop, Matthew Benham and Rory Sheppard are the duo behind Ivy Eye. No longer just a ‘local indie band’, the pair are on their way to international success, with their debut track “Peace of Mind” being featured on 70+ Spotify playlists and charting within the top 3 in the Hype Machine Charts. It comes as no surprise that the cinematic potential of their sound has been recognised by a couple of TV music supervisor, so be sure to look out for their tunes on your favourite shows.

With a beat that slaps you across the face and pushes you out onto the dancefloor, it is imposable not to groove along with Ivy Eye’s music. Like their invigorating debut track “Peace of Mind”, their newest output, “Make My Way Out (To The Sun)” takes ques from disco hits and funk favourites, while injecting a modern electronic sensibility. Dominated by glistening synths, breezy vocals and groovy guitars, it is infectiously likeable and gloriously nostalgic, bursting with eclectic energy reminiscent of early Cut Copy.

“Make My Way Out (To The Sun)” is the kind of track that will take hold of your body, mind and soul, endowing them with endless energy and ensuring a thoroughly good time.
