There is a real intricacy in Jeauneil arrangement and production which serves to create a truly remarkable result.

The London-born artist Jeauneil began work on this song when he was at university, first intending the track to sound and feel like a person on the brink of ending their own life. However, since its first conception, the song has evolved to represent multiple scenarios, with Jeauneil explaining that it ‘could also represent the deepest depths of love between two people’. Such deep and often painful emotions are conveyed so beautifully on the track, predominantly by the stunning, gospel-esque vocal arrangements of both Jeauneil and his friend Angelina. Accompanied by gentle and minimalistic piano and Bluegrass-inspired percussion, the vocals take on a new dimension and are elevated to a new realm of magnificence.

Despite the seemingly minimalistic and pared-back nature of the track however, there is a real intricacy in its arrangement and production which serves to create a truly remarkable result.
