The lights are out, but the music is very much on. Kid Violet’s new single ‘Lights Out’ channels everything that you could want from an Indie Rock song. Taking inspiration from the likes of Joy Division, Arctic Monkeys, and The Strokes, Kid Violet have got very big aspirations, but you get the feeling that with every single, they edge ever closer to their idols. Kid Violet channels their inspirations into their music, they jam with intention to replicate their idols, and in return produce something incredibly unique and infectious.  

Lead singer Billy states: “Our music is ready to pull at your heartstrings and blow your face off in a matter of seconds.” With their rock n roll riffs, wrenching lyrics and a sprinkling of reverb, you are well on the way to getting a sense of Kid Violet’s edgy, dynamic, yet beautifully melodic sound. Kid Violet’s dynamic is exceptional, and with a tour of England due in 2021, it could very well be their breakout year.
