“The world could do without coronavirus, but it certainly needs more Leisure Theory.”

There are some things in life you simply cannot live without, and Leisure Theory’s new single is certainly one of them. Following their release of “This Is My Password’ in 2019, Leisure Theory embarked on a tour of the UK and Ireland. Fast forward to 2020, having signed to Manchester label, Most Joyous, Leisure Theory have returned with their new single ‘Do Without’ and along with it comes immense enthusiasm.

‘Do Without’ is inspired by an article on how people have changed over lockdown, touching upon the loneliness and the change of routines brought on as a direct result of the coronavirus. However, whilst the pandemic may seem bleak with no end in sight, ‘Do Without’ is a song full of hope, evident through the groundbreaking yet vivid synths, and promise reflected through the calming lyrics that things will get better. The world could do without coronavirus, but it certainly needs more Leisure Theory.
