The title track from his most recent EP, ‘Thetimewewanderoff’ is an incredibly gentle, yet unbelievably powerful example of Liush’s talent as both songwriter and artist. His beautiful vocals, lying somewhere between Bon Iver and Ben Howard, float alongside acoustic guitar in an open, but nevertheless intimate sonic arrangement. Hailing from Tel Aviv, Liush relocated to Berlin in 2015 to pursue his music career and in the advent of the Covid-19 outbreak, took the plunge and went solo. Due to isolation scuppering initial recording plans, the artist chose to record in a far more isolated and natural recording environment, and the sonic result was something intensely profound and touching.
