The title track from his most recent EP, ‘Thetimewewanderoff’ is an incredibly gentle, yet unbelievably powerful example of Liush’s talent as both songwriter and artist. His beautiful vocals, lying somewhere between Bon Iver and Ben Howard, float alongside acoustic guitar in an open, but nevertheless intimate sonic arrangement. Hailing from Tel Aviv, Liush relocated to Berlin in 2015 to pursue his music career and in the advent of the Covid-19 outbreak, took the plunge and went solo.

Yom Tov translated into English means ‘A good day’, and Liush has that perfect way of encapsulating good days into his music. There is a long thought process behind Liush’s music, and his latest single ‘Yom Tov’ is no different. The concept of the song covers the fact that we all have good days, and we all have bad days, but the song tells us we must appreciate both.
