Garage rock trio Mild Headache find human tenderness in riotous ballad ‘Near Me’

Finding their niche in the unapologetic riotousness of heavy rock, Mild Headache release explosive new track ‘Near Me’. It’s angry and it isn’t afraid of making a scene, but there’s a tenderness to the melody. Lingering in the melancholic shallows of minor keys, the trio dwell upon a deep and considered humanity through their lyrics. “You’re in love with the sound of sympathy”. It’s a feeling no doubt shared by many, with the unidentified protagonist resonating in different ways across the garage rock diaspora. As the track progresses, quieting harmonies provide respite from the emphatic roar of percussion in a curious textural soundscape.

Insightful and raucous, Mild Headache find emotional truth in the harsh blaze of rock.
