A shimmering folk-pop ballad, ORIAN’s “Jewellery Box” is an ode to sentimentality.

The Berlin-based Irish multi-instrumentalist ORIAN has been performing music for over 10 years, developing a style deeply rooted in guitar-driven pop-sensibility. His newest track, “Jewellery Box”, is the result of his song writing collaboration with the Grammy award winning Erik Alcock – the man behind such legendary acts as Eminem, Celine Dion and Pink!. Building up on the success of his previous collaborative single, “What Pulls You”, ORIAN has now embraced a more personal, stripped back approach for his folky ballad, “Jewellery Box”.

Floating on a bed of gently vibrating guitars, ORIAN’s echoing vocals pull us into nostalgic memories of his childhood. With the narrative centring around his mother’s jewellery box, his personal history is unfolded before us, vibrant and alive. Inspired by a late-night conversation with his girlfriend about objects that retain sentimental significance, this track aims to remind us of the ones we love and the joy that comes from personal connection.

As images and associations flicker through ORIAN’s music, an atmosphere of warmth and comfort spills forth, prompting us to turn to our own memories.
