With a thin crust full of deep bass, Pizza Crunch are Glasgow’s latest indie band to weasel their way into your shuffle with new single ‘Twelve Month Seasonal Depression’.
Stuffed with catchy riffs played through jangly guitars and inexhaustible drums, this track which contemplates a year of sadness is far from a stagnant depression. Rising from a post-punk riot into a myriad of vocal tones, the track shines with youthful fervour. A riot of nothingness, the tune buzzes with the lockdown spirit it was born out of. Rejoicing in the juxtaposition between lyrical boredom and riffs so electric that they could resurrect the dead.
As only their second single to date, only time will tell what Pizza Crunch delivers next.
