Since 2018, Primes have been carving their name into the Scottish music scene. Now, with their release of their cautionary new single ’Shangri-La’ they are calling the whole world to pay attention.
A warning against being blinded by the sun whilst searching for a Shangri-La, this three-piece relay the truth through clouds of sustained guitar, thunderous drums and electric harmonies. Taking their indie rock into a darker realm than ever before. Stuttering smoothly into a bridge which offers solace through hope, it’s not long before they return to a final chorus which now has new a silver lining.
