Londoner rex wrestles with her subconsciousness in latest release, ‘Boy’.

As only the second single of the year for the artist who has been consistently championed by BBC Introducing, rex searches for answers within this volcanic track. Arising from a simple texture of synth drones and vocals, this is a track that is forever expanding. Conquering senses in an increasingly dramatic fashion through a dynamic fusion of vocal cries and smashing drums, rex tries to quell the anxiety which is often paired with meeting someone new.

Fierce and powerful within both its lyricism and sound, rex continues to push her music into new realms, and we can’t wait to see what’s next.
