“Having been supported by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music, and making the Hot List back in 2019, there is every reason to be seriously excited by Kid Kin.”

Kid Kin have returned with their brand new single ‘Control’ featuring The Bobo, and it is simply stunning. Kid Kin is the project of Oxfordshire based producer and multi-instrumentalist Peter Lloyd. ‘Control’ is being released with a video by Oxford based artist Ash Cooke and is the lead single taken from the forthcoming new Kid Kin EP ‘Discompose’, due for release in June 2021, so the future for Kid Kin is looking so strong.

Music-wise, ‘Control’ is just absolutely gorgeous, the hymnal tones provided by Maria aka The Bobo float gently around Kid Kin’s swirls of percussion and dense synthesizers. Meanwhile, the euphoric instrumentation and haunting delivery calls to mind contemporary artists such as Daughters and Chromatics. Having been supported by Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music, and making the Hot List back in 2019, there is every reason to be seriously excited by Kid Kin.
