Dance away the pain with Rival Karma’s spirited new single “Honey!”

The self-described “Ninja Rock” duo Rival Karma are back with a new single from their upcoming sophomore EP. Centred around the manifestation of different emotions that the band have experienced, the EP aims to combine powerful sound with complex subject matter. Although Rival Karma has lost two members since its inception, the vocalist/guitarist Martin Roux and drummer Piergiorgio “PJ” Ciarla are more than holding their own, touring across Europe and West Coast US and even being named NAMM 2020’s SoundBenner Artists.

Driven by gritty guitar riffs, pounding drums and a palpable sense of cool, “Honey!” is rock track with moody twinges of blues that will have you longing for something – or someone – you don’t even know. Letting the music do most of the talking, Martin Roux’s seductive vocals are nevertheless full of rock-star flair, capturing moments or desire and regret. As the concluding swell of drums and guitar comes to heart-pounding crescendo, we are left with our eyes wide open and mouths gasping for air – or maybe even singing along to the lyrics.

Bursting with dynamic and vibrant rock’n’roll attitude, “Honey!” is both a cry from the heart and tune that requires your complete surrender.
