Sofia Dragt releases the unforgettable ‘We Remember Now’
“Enchanting your senses to keep both the voices of history and your faith in new artists alive.”
An indie-folk tale for the history books, Sofia Dragt releases the unforgettable ‘We Remember Now’.
As first-hand accounts of World War Two fade out of existence, Sofia Dragt works to cement them within music. Pulling you into a world of two parts, she tells the tale of the bombing of Wageningen from the perspective of those in the sky and those below, namely Herman van Brussel (a Dutchman who grew up during the war). A single which sits within a larger project organised by Wageningen45 in collaboration with the Dutch broadcaster Omroep Gelderland, this composer, producer and artist stitches the tale's soul into the soft piano strings that move in partnership with her crystalised voice. Enchanting your senses to keep both the voices of history and your faith in new artists alive.
